Lee Pankhurst - guitarist

I am a solo musician who performs relaxing guitar music, adding a soothing ambience to all sorts of social events.

My repertoire is made up of popular songs from the 1950s through to the present day, with a focus on much-loved classics of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

I regularly perform in care homes, where the familiar melodies often spark memories and bring a sense of connection and joy to residents. I also play at weddings, funerals and parties - and occasionally at restaurants close to where I live in Southend.

For the past ten years I have worked as a volunteer at Southend Hospital and regularly perform in those wards that specialise in care for the elderly. I find it hugely enjoyable to see the positive impact that my guitar music can have on the wellbeing and mood of the patients.
Please feel free to call me on 07918 620749 or email me on leepankhurstguitar@gmail.com if you'd like to make a booking or find out a little more.
Our resident guitarist, Lee, visits each month and serenades everyone over lunch, which has been a real favourite of residents and staff. It is so relaxing listening to his acoustic guitar.

We were so happy with Lee's performance of Somewhere Over A Rainbow as we left the church after our wedding ceremony.

I would happily recommend Lee to other care homes looking for a reliable, engaging and genuinely caring live musician. He brings a great deal of joy to our residents.
